With over 170 branches across the UK, the company is at a pivotal moment in its growth trajectory and is undertaking a Group Procurement transformation led by an experienced Interim to support the on-going needs of the business.
The Group Procurement Manager is a greenfield position and considered a key member of LRG’s UK wide business. The role requires an agile, people oriented stakeholder manager who has strong procurement and supply chain knowledge to manage both indirect and direct categories. Reporting directly to the Group Head of Facilities, the role has an elevated status to lead and support the on-going evolution of Group Procurement in-line with industry best practices.
This role is responsible for developing expert knowledge and implementing effective strategies to maximise value for money for a number of categories of spend, including Marketing, Digital, IT & Telecoms and Facilities Management. The role will involve collaboration with the various functional Directors, the branch managers as well as suppliers on a daily basis.
You will manage one direct report initially with a view that as the organisation evolves and centralised procurement becomes more mandated, your remit will grow and the ability to build a team to help support you will become a requirement.
One of the key projects will be to support finance in the implementation of a P2P system in FY 2021.
