Finance Accounts Assistant - Worthing

Salary - £18,000 - £20,000 per annum

Leaders Romans Group have an exciting opportunity within the Client Finance department to provide services that protect, control and process clients funds as well as assisting branches with queries / requests and monitoring and recovering any unpaid client fees / funds.

This position is working within a fast paced environment and requires great customer service skills. A large volume of queries and requests are received by the Client Finance team on a daily basis and this role is pivotal in regards to responding and resolving these queries / requests in a timely manner, in order to adhere to the Service Level Agreements of the department.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Assist branch staff with errors on the system and general queries via telephone and email, within the agreed SLA.
  • Release of tenant deposits minus deductions for dilapidations.
  • Refund demands and fees that have generated incorrectly.
  • Reconciliation of ledgers and the suspense account.
  • Investigate missing credits and allocate correctly once found.
  • Reviewing landlord statements before remitting payments.
  • Contact with landlords regarding Client Finance Accounts queries.
  • Use of online banking and Pay360.

About you

We are looking for a customer focused person who has strong communications skills, a good eye for detail, numeracy skills are a must and you will work well under pressure. Ideally someone who has previous experience in an office/admin environment or in retail. This position requires the individual to prioritise workloads whilst building up and maintaining a strong working relationship with branch staff and managers, over the phone and via written communication.
