Office Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Boyer is established as one of the leading consultancies in Planning, Development Economics and Design in the UK. With a creative, dynamic and collaborative culture, we provide advice to major developers and house-builders on challenging and prestigious projects. We have an established presence in England and Wales and are seeking to recruit an Office Administrator for maternity cover (July 2018 to March 2019) in our Cardiff office.

The role will entail filing, photocopying/scanning, liaising with external suppliers, raising purchase orders and client invoices, and general ad-hoc office duties to support our team of Planners.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment, be proficient in Sage and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), and be capable of working to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. Knowledge of Indesign would be advantageous.

Other key requirements are:

  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Basic accounts experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High personal presentation
  • Accurate record keeping, including filing
  • Enthusiastic and team approach
  • Excellent telephone manner
